First Aid for Martial Arts Instructors

Following the success of the 2005 course, the academy was happy to host another training day for instructors to keep their knowledge current and practice up to date. The British Red Cross again provided Ruth as our trainer, who bought us news of updates in first aid practise, especially new thoughts and practice about CPR.

Since the certificate obtained by instructors in 2005 is only valid for three years, it has become part of the instructor's training program and continuing professional development to attend a refresher training course. The next one will fall due in 2011.

Once again it was a full day 9am - 5:30 pm and attended by both instructors and students from the Archway Academy and instructors from other Wu's style academies and covered the same topics as in 2005.
