Chen Style Spear Workshops with Master LiMing Yue - June 2004

The Academy played host to the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain for this event. The judges workshops or seminars are an ongoing series of events to encourage professionalism and quality of Judging at UK and European Competitions.

As part of the TCUGB judging seminar series to create the top judges of the future, Liming Yue presented the key elements of Chen style spear in a hands-on workshop.

Clearly it is not possible in one day to learn the complexities of the Chen style Spear in its entirety, even for the experienced practitioners attending the seminar. However by careful demonstration and well paced teaching master Liming Yue was able to convey the essentials of good Chen style and what to look for in a demonstration of the Chen style Spear form.

All present agreed it had been a valuable experience and were impressed by the energetic and careful teaching of LiMing Yue.
