Beginners classes are taught either as the introductory 8 week courses,
where the foundation of the movements of the Form are taught, or as
on-going beginners classes for members who have completed a course and
stayed on to learn the rest of the Form.
On completion of the course students are invited to continue to
learn the remainder of the form over the next few months, as well as some
applications of selected forms, and beginner level pushing hands. Students
progress is reviewed at the halfway mark (from 54) and on completion of
learning the Form which marks the end of the beginners syllabus. They may
then progress to the intermediate level.
