This event was organised by the staff of The Hub - a training facility in Regent's park and the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain who agreed to provide instructors for the event.
The instructors present were Rod Jacob from Wudang Tai Chi and several instructors from the Archway Academy
Originally it was meant to have been an outdoor event, but the weather turned windy and wet and the sessions were held in the training rooms in the hub.
The sessions consisted of demonstrations and audience participation, so people tried taster sessions to get a better idea of what Tai Chi Chuan is about. The idea behind the Revitalise event was to promote exercise and a healthier lifestyle for the over 50's, of which Tai Chi Chuan was one of the suggested activities.
The video clip shows instructors Don Spargo, Susie Collins and Steve Wright demonstrating the 54 movements or competition Form. This was the first time members of the Academy had demonstrated this form in public.
