This can be done via a credit or debit card or if you have one a Paypal account. You do not need a Paypal account to pay. Once the payment is made you will be redirected to another page which will give you the link and passcode for the class.
You do not need any additional software, it all works via your internet browser. You do however need a computer with Camera, Speaker(s) and Microphone.
One-to-one classes with Sifu Don Spargo can be paid for in advance via the web site. Sifu will then phone the student to arrange a mutually agreed time for the class.
Classes will be restricted to no more than 10 people in size i.e. 9 + the instructor
You will need a computer with Camera, Speaker(s) and Microphone. You will also require some clear floor space, about 8 - 10 feet (2.4 - 3.0 metres) by 4 - 4.5 feet (1.2 - 1.4 metres). Please stand far enough back from the camera so that all of your body can be seen i.e. head to toes. You may want to try positioning yourself or your camera before the lesson begins so that you don't spend time fiddling with the camera/computer position during the class.
Please attend dressed in your training clothes. The instructor in charge will mute the microphones of participants during the class but will occasionally restore microphone access for Q&A sessions. The room will be open 5 minutes before the start of the class, please be prompt for the meeting.
The taster class will cover the basics of Tai Chi Chuan, such as posture and stance, basic walking, principles and theory, warm up exercises and some of the Tai Chi Chuan movements (forms). The class is meant to give an insight into what Tai Chi Chuan is and how it is taught and practiced. There is no charge for the class but if you can, and wish to, make a contribution to the Charity we support (Crisis - support for the homeless) it would be much appreciated.
